Hello

Hello Monday
 Hello 2 healthy boys
Hello to a hubby that kept this family fed and moving forward this weekend...
Goodbye flu, hello bronchitis
This momma is still down for the count.
Our weekend was a blur of fevers, coughs, and saltines
I thought I'd force a post but as I lean forward to write,
e v e r y t h i n g
spins......
So to save you from any possible delusional rants
I'll catch y'all on the flip side of this.
I promise I'm coming back.

  2. you poor thing! i miss you and hope you feel better soon. if you have a natural foods store and a willing 'go-getter' sen d him out for some osha tincture. it's nasty as hell (tastes like concentrated celery) but i now swear by it. it is the first thing that bears dig up when they come out of hibernation to fortify their weak and furry bodies....which i very much like thinking about. keep taking it as a voodoo elixir to ward off whatever..if snow wasn't covering my yard, i'd go dig you some right now! feel better my dear! that's an order!

  3. Oh..feel better!
SOMEHOW we have made it through this Winter so far with NO illness.
I *think* it's the bone broth we sip on almost daily.
Sounds a little gross, but it's just chicken soup made from the carcass of a previously roast chicken, carrots, garlic and onions...
Make sure the chix is organic and pastured, if you can. It will then be devoid of excess sodium, etc...

    1. Not gross in the least! We speak the same health stuff momma ;) Tomorrow I will be making this! In fact I have some in the freezer but I'm wondering if it looses its powers after being frozen? Hmmmmm...I'll make fresh just for good measure! Thanks for checking in on me :)

  5. I am so sorry you got the crud. Your hubby is a real hero. Not only did he take care of you, but he also got the paper goods to church, which was way beyond the call of duty. I am running away to the sea and hoping I don't get this stuff aboard ship. Take care, get better soon, and much love.
