The Final Three

Hello hello!
Summer is over, Fall is quickly approaching
and hallelujah I'm getting back into a routine!

I've missed this place.
I've miss y'all!

I can't even remember the last time I sat down and poked around my favorite  blogs.

Summer seriously soaked up every second of our time.
But for that I am thankful.
So many memories to hold on to.

I thought I'd share some highlights from the final 3 weeks of summer.
Then y'all can pick what you want the first blog post to be about!

Here is my recent dumpster diving flip.
I think they are the sides from a shipping crate, but after a quick sanding, staining and chalk board painting; they are the perfect for displaying the weekly menu and a running grocery list!
Mr. Doozie has been limiting how often he lets me tag along to the recycling drop off with him.
I cant figure out why?

Y'all, we attended one of the most gorgeous weddings....
Words can't even begin to describe they beauty and thought that went into this wedding.
I have oodles of pictures for this upcoming post. Lots and lots of inspiration!

Have you heard of A Cuppa Kim's annual mug swap? You should check it out. It was such a fun experience! This was my mug and goodies that I sent to my secret swapper :)

Oh....Pinterest/Etsy.....I hand painted over 100 rocks....
You'll find out why in the blog post for Will's 6th Birthday.

Speaking of Will's 6th birthday.
We went camping!
It was such a fun theme to work with.
We have amazing friends who went along with the wild idea.

Why yes, I camp with flowers in tow....
Don't you?

We spent Labor Day weekend with our dearest friends and military family!
Paddle-boarding, tourist attractions, and secret beach (which isn't so secret anymore).
It was perfect.

And the icing on the cake...
I had the honor of photographing a water birth.
It was incredibly moving.
I still get weepy thinking about it.
What a beautiful experience.

So there you have it! It was a busy final few weeks.
Any requests for the first blog post?

  2. I've had such a good time connecting on IG, though. A little addicting, if I must say! ;) I'm glad you're back to your space here, too. :)
