Custom Entryway Bench with Chalkboard Crates

I'll just say it up front.

This is a total bragging post.

Mr. Doozie tackled his first custom order

and it came out amazing!

One of my best friends sent a few Pinterest pics our way and asked if he could combine them

and come up with the beginning of what she is calling her Command Center in their entryway.

A few sketches later and this was what he made!

He used elements from these three posts by Ana White to come up with his design:

Rustic X Console

Chalkboard Produce Crate

Whitewash Stained Finish

The crates were painted with Annie Sloan's

 Pure White Chalk Paint and sealed with her Dark Wax.
