Oh me oh my! I blinked and this weekend was over! Friday night was our Marine Corps Birthday Ball. We have found a wonderful group of friends here and everyone truly enjoyed themselves. I know that monkey picture is odd; it was for our Kindergartner. Each week the class "pet" gets to go home with a student. It happened to be our turn and it was our job to record all the fun he has. Mr. Doozie was such a sport taking that picture :) Love that man. And I love him even more for scooping me up when I slipped and fell on the dance floor! Yep, down to the ground people! It was quite the night... Ha!
The rest of the weekend boasted of lots of holiday prep, our guests start arriving on Tuesday! Yikes! But thankfully all the last minute details are coming together and we even had time to do a big photo shoot for an upcoming blog post later this week! Super fun! You'll have to excuse the mini pics, my IG feed got tweaked with by a little 2 year old and I didn't catch it till it was too late!
Hope your week is off to a wonderful start! I'm looking forward to being surround by friends and family as we take time to give thanks for all we have been given!
KO, you both look amazing! I'm glad you had a wonderful time, even with the fall. Thank goodness for your Marine taking good care of you and getting you up off the floor. Your pictures remind me so much of my parents and seeing them dressed every year for the ball.
