Cranberry Orange Chutney

Eeeeep! Thanksgiving is almost here and we are so excited! This year our little beach cottage will be bursting at the seams with family and I could not be more thankful. I shared this recipe last week on a guest post, but if you missed the amazingness I thought I'd share it again here.

This is my family's recipe for Cranberry Orange Chutney. It is crazy good as well as crazy easy (but you do have to make it 2 days ahead of time). Add a pretty little garnish on top and you'll have your holiday crew oohing and ahhing over this side dish.

Ingredients:
2 12oz bags of fresh cranberries
1 large orange ~ sliced and seeded
2 (gulp) cups of sugar
Put the berries and orange slices in a food processor (1) and give it a whirl (2). Once things are moving nicely add the sugar (3) and continue to process for 30 more seconds (4).

*If you are worried about the amount of chutney in your processor, blend the oranges first and then add the cranberries.

Place the chutney in a glass container and refrigerate for 2 days before serving. When ready to serve garnish with fresh or candied orange peel and a few whole cranberries!
PS. The Etsy shop is on vacation mode and will reopen Friday, November 23rd ~ take advantage of the coupon code that is on my Etsy page!
