Sadness

Hello sweet friends. I know I've been quiet for a few days now on here. Our pastor's wife passed away this weekend, leaving a shocked and rattled church and a heartbroken husband with three small children to care for.

I have so many fun things to share with you from our visit with my in-laws and even a craft or two to post on. But right now my time and energy is required elsewhere.

If there is one thing I could leave you with today, it would be to love on those around you. This world is so harsh and often times crushing. Pull your dear ones close to you and make sure they know your love.

I should be back early next week. Love you all.

  6. I understand that shock & sadness oh so well. Two passages from Matthew are still my peace in the storm: "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." 5:4 & "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." 6:34. I am praying for his family, your family, & your church to find your way through this. I love you guys!
