Instagram Friday

This week has been full of home makeovers, sick babies, lots of rain, and all the in-between stuff. I'm so tired my eyes keep crossing, no joke. My eyes also cross when I'm choking, weird I know.

Anyhoo, here's a bit of our week Instagram style.
Jack is so sick. I spared you the pictures of what he looks like now. This was taken at the beginning of the week. Our little man is now covered in blisters, Hand Foot and Mouth is an evil evil virus. Ugh!
I kept Will home this week because this darn virus is so contagious. There was no way I wanted to pass this off to anyone else in his school. So we've had to get creative on how to spend our housebound days. So far his favorite activity was a pool filled with bubbles, and I mean LOTS of bubbles. And thankfully he has dodged this bug! Praise the Lord!
During nap times I've been furiously working on the new craft room! It's really coming along :)
Bill was on 24 hour duty this week and had other obligations he was committed to which meant I was on point for sick baby call. He came home yesterday afternoon and I immediately put my running shoes on and hit the pavement ALONE!
Just a little sneak peek of the craft room. Eeeek!
And I'll leave you with a link. This is a picture of Styer's, an incredible restaurant, store, and nursery that we try to hit up every time we visit my parents. It is usually way out of our budget but it is fun to look at and be inspired.

Happy Friday!

  1. I do hope your baby is well soon, yes, that is one nasty, mean virus.
Thank you so much for the well wishes last night. Twinkie and I are going to be fine, it will just take a little time. It was just all the stress of the moment that really drained me, well that and the huge bite on my leg! I don't handle stress well, it exhausts me.
I hope you have a lovely weekend ko and I am looking forward to seeing your room, I love the colors!
